About The Film

Hooves Up follows Glitter the Unicorn activist and their BFF, drag queen extraordinaire Yvonna Vote, as they bring joy, colour, and truth to a city caught in a rising tide of hate. What begins as a bright, storybook world with unicorns and community parades gradually shifts as extremist politics, misinformation, and an elected city councillor cast a shadow over Pickering.
